Bestselling author James Patterson returns with the #1 blockbuster thriller of the spring, an unstoppable novel of law and revenge.
Senior FBI agent Nick Pellisante is closing in on notorious mob boss "The Electrician," when the scheduled sting goes spectacularly awry. Two FBI agents are dead, the boss is wounded, and Pellisante vows the Electrician/s next move will be from a jail cell.
Andie Echeverra, a part-time actress, and a single, full time mom, is assigned her next role as Juror #11 in the landmark trial against Mafia Don Dominic Cavello. Everybody is on edge. No one has ever crossed the man whose orders have made entire families disappear.
Though Cavello's influence extends across blue uniforms and black robes, the case should be open-and-shut. But the legal system fails with devastating results, and Nick and Andie are the only ones left to seek justice. To stop the Electrician, they must take matters into their own hands. They are the judge and jury now.
James Patterson spins an all-out heart-pounding legal thriller that pits two people against the most vicious and powerful mobster since Sam Giancana.

Another winner from James Patterson. A powerful mobster is captured and put on trial. And, after they are selected, bad things start happening to the jurors. Even the trial judge begins acting strangely and like she's being pressured. Will they cave in and give this dispicable mobster his freedom? Or, will justice prevail? There's quite a bit of courtroom drama, but it's a good read and well worth the time spent.

Not Pattersons best, but defintiely worth your time. It takes about 100 pages for the story to really get going, but once it does, its a good thrill ride that is typical Patterson. I would recommend this to any Patterson fan, or fan of suspense novels. Good beach read.

Enjoy Jas. Patterson's work very much, this one is no exception. Not an Alex Cross novel, but completely enjoyed it all the same! Great characters!

Another WOW book for me completed by James Patterson! This book was non-stop action from start to finish. It is Law N Order meets Sopranos all rolled into one. The book had passion! Thought and perfect timing on every point! The end was even better. Just when you thought it was all over it continued that extra leap. It made me wanting more for the book to continue on yet it was the PERFECT ending to a wonderful thrill ride! Way to go James Patterson on another awesome book!

Not Patterson at his best. Reads like a made for a movie script.
Especially when the hero has the assassin in his gun sight and shoots him in the leg (instead of shooting to kill) and the assassin then chases the hero through the town with a bullet in his leg. Enough, already!

This is James Patterson -- that means (to me) it is a very good read. This is one superior legal thriller, very hard to put down.

Typical James Patterson. Good, fast-pace, quick read but sort of quick and unlikely resolution.
