the message of this book: if your boyfriend dumps you curl into a catatonic ball and wish you were dead for 400 pages. then weep for joy and cling obsessively to said boyfriend when you get back together. And mention how his icy chest feels like marble in every other sentence. so bad.

I have been told by COUNTLESS people that you either LOVE New Moon or you LOVE Eclipse (book 3), but you can't love both. I disagree. I loved all 3 books in this series so far. I will admit though--and perhaps warn others--- I cried more reading New Moon than I have ever cried while reading a book.

I don't want to give away anything for those who haven't read New Moon yet so I won't go into details about what's tear-jerking or why some people might be disappointed. I will just say that I read New Moon in one sitting, just like I did Twilight.

The writing in this book is just as vivid and descriptive as in Twilight and the scenes created are unlike any other I have ever read.

This series is just amazing and I can't come up with words that can describe just how great I think they are.

For the adults out there, don't look past this series just because you think it'd be childish since its techincally a YA series. These books are for everyone. Even if you don't like vampires or supernatural, I promise, these books will touch you.

Okay. You caught me. I'm obsessed. Happy? This book did it. My loving wonderful husband ran out in a cold snap to get me the 3rd book because I found out I didn't have the 3rd one.

Okay, so this book was really good... I wish I could explain why I'm obsessed with these books. I'm usually not into this type of book much less ones that are so "over hyped", but these are great mindless easy reading fiction.

Well worth a read, great for an airplane, even better for a comfy chair and a warm cocoa.

The overall story was good, but I'm really surprised at how annoying I can sometimes find Bella and Edward yet still love the book. Edward is 5 times her age and is sometimes more immature (the whole guilt thing) than Bella.

The werewolves in this are pretty cool, even though sometimes annoying.

I found this a great read, though, even with some of the eye rolling I had to do over things that happen in it.

I have been hesitant to read this series. I enpected a more "non-sexual" feel to the book (knowing the author) and have been bothered by all the undertones in both the 1st and 2nd book. I work with high school girls and they are all about this series. My own daughters convinced me to start reading them. They are suspensful, bur I just don't think all the sexual, suggestive things need to be in it. I am shocked that pre teen and teen girls would find this "normal". As you might have guessed,I am a 50 ish grandmother of 7 and mother to 4 grown daughters. I like a good mystery, but cut the smut....

Boring! I thought if I kept reading it might get better but it doesn't. This teenager is a most annoying person, wishy washy. It is just so much 'thinking' all the time that is about what most of the book is about-what she is 'thinking'. Doubt if I read the other two books.

I read thru all 4 Twilight books in less than a month -- I have not read a series I loved more .... ever. I highly recommend these books --- just one caution though, you may stay up too late reading and you may even be tempted to ditch school or work to keep on reading!!!!! This is a love story with a lot of action and suspense -- words don't quite describe how much I liked these books.

Almost as good as the first book! The characters continue to smolder!

my final foray into the Twilight universe. This book sucked. Bella was a completely selfish, self-centered, suicidal, insecure, self-lying witch. If this is the type of character teen girls want to read about and emulate, then we are all doomed. But maybe we'll get lucky and all those types will just off themselves and do the world a favor. Maybe that is actually Meyer's sinister secret plan. A kind of Literary Eugenics Master Plan? LEMP for short ;-)

and a 100 year old should know better. Period.

There's nothing in the story that doesn't just keep getting better. I love the characterizations; the book comes to life as I read it which is the best compliment I can imagine for any book.

I'm so eager for the next one.

Loved this book. My favorite of all 4 books. I really got taken over by the emotion. I also fell in love with Jacob in this book!

A Nice continuation of the Twilight saga this series reminds me of the Harry Potter series but has a more "coming of age" feel to it and goes beyond that too.

This is a great addition to the Bella & Edward saga! This is for romance & fantacy fans of both genders.

Totally excellent couldn't put it down. Read in about 3-4 days. These books just grab you and you won't be able to wait for the next book which is Eclipse. I couldn't i went and got the next 2 books right away.

Absolutely riveting! Could not put it down and when I did have to put it down I was eager to get back to it as quickly as possible! I highly recommend this book if you liked the first Twilight book!

Definitely I fun book to read. I liked Twilight better though, which I think mostly depends on if you are a Jacob or Edward fan.
