Robert Heinlein, Grand Master of science fiction. That pretty much says it all. This is a book from his Future History series, where a parasitic species invades our planet and starts taking over portions of the US. Has several of his usual characters, the tough, brave genius, the brilliant head of a secret organization, and the beautiful and brilliant female agent who is a push-over for our hero.
Yeah, I know, stereotypes, but as usual it's a fun read.

I almost didn't read this one, I received it and another book at the same time, they were similar in appearance. I didn't like the other book at all so I thought this one was like the other. I finally picked it up and started to read it. Not at all what I thought it would be. turned out to be a very good book. I enjoyed it very much.

This was a good story featuring alien invasion mixed with espionage. I liked the characters Sam, Mary and the Old Man.
