Sort of a medical mystery and again a great detective read!!

I really like V.I. she always seems to be able to get herself into and out of trouble. I can see how this book would be a good start for other women slueths and women writers as well. It must be the gut feelings they always seem to have.

This is the fourth in the series about VI Warshawski, a tough Chicago based female detective. She has baggage of her own, growing up with a father who was a cop, and losing her beloved mother too soon. VI is a brash, assertive detective.

Excellent mystery---well-written, great characters.

Sara writes like no other suspense writer-intelligent and challenging.
