Set in 1969, Cherry meets the man of her dreams admist a summer of small town revelations and life-changing experiences.

I was surprised when I got this book and started reading about thinly disguised landmarks from around where I grew up. That was a little of a distraction to me, but before long I got into the story and really enjoyed it. It is a "coming of age" sort of story set in the 60's. It's about small town living, family, friends, drugs, war, love and more. Worth the read.
