One of the better romance stories. I enjoyed this one, can't wait to read another one of Jillian Hunter's novels.

Generally speaking, I liked this book. Sedgecroft's struggle with taking the helm of his family was meaningful and his interaction with Jane entertaining. However, I did not get was why it was necessary for Sedgecroft to feel so betrayed by Jane's secret. At this point, the story gets too macho and Jane's plan for fixing the situation somewhat frustrating. Fortunately, I enjoyed most of the book.

First book in a series. This is the first time I ever read this author. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading the rest.
Good book, first in a series.
This book is a pleasant read. The characters needed more development, but it was still an enjoyable book.
Excellent Regency romance. Keeps you wondering how the heroine is going to save herself.
