Tony Valentine doesn't let us down. Great schemes, continuous action, and an ending that leaves you hanging (see Deadman's Bluff). There is also comic relief in the form of an aging poker champion and a couple bumbling criminal friends of Tony's son. It is a great way to spend an afternoon.
Typical James Swain book with a little more action thrown in. Covers the world of professional poker playing.
