Book Description:
A new era of exciting adventures and shocking revelations continues to unfold, as the legendary Star Wars saga sweeps forward into astonishing new territory.

Civil war looms as the fledgling Galactic Alliance confronts a growing number of rebellious worlds-and the approaching war is tearing the Skywalker and Solo families apart. Han and Leia return to Han's homeworld, Corellia, the heart of the resistance. Their children, Jacen and Jaina, are soldiers in the Galactic Alliance's campaign to crush the insurgents.

Jacen, now a complete master of the Force, has his own plans to bring order to the galaxy. Guided by his Sith mentor, Lumiya, and with Luke's young son Ben at his side, Jacen embarks on the same path that his grandfather Darth Vader once did. And while Han and Leia watch their only son become a stranger, a secret assassin entangles the couple with a dreaded name from Han's past: Boba Fett. In the new galactic order, friends and enemies are no longer what they seem. . . .

This book dragged a bit, I'm not big on the political machinations in any universe, just get to the good stuff. But the storyline is good and it's nice to see some new characters, and old characters with new life in them. It may sound sexist, but I've never been a fan of any of the female writers Star Wars has brought in. Traviss is an exception, she wrote strong characters and kept a good pace for the most part.

Want to learn more about Boba Fett? This is the book for you then. Karen Traviss adds the correct flavors of the Star Wars themes and keeps you on your toes at the same time. This is the second of a series of books that will tug at your heart and make you say Oh No! and Ya! at the same time.

If you like Mandos thrown in with the other Star Wars characters here is your book. It's an interseting plot line with Boba and Han teaming up for the first time but it opened the door to other issues in the fandom that is causing alot of strife. But like with other series you can't understand the other books without reading this one.

the whole legacey of the force series in a thought provoking series dealing with fictionalized aspects on any war agienst terror. What is considered terror? who gets to set the bounderies of right and wrong? If you do bad things are you nessaseary evil? those are some of the questions raised.

Bloodlines is the second book in the series following both Han and Leia on the independant recently blockaded Corrilla. as well as there son Jacen who is the leader of an underground secret police approved by the goverenment to take care of the corrillian terroist. Jacen decides to learn the ways of the sith from a old lady of the sith Lumaya Justaifying his actions with pure intentions.

Boba has a big part in this book but he really dosent help the story go. If you a Boba fanboy you will be disapointed.

eh- Traviss is no Zahn-- I was hoping for another Tales of Fett-- this was rather disappointing.
