Debra Webb's books are always a quick, action-packed read and this one was no different although it was more of a romance than I am accustomed to expecting from her. Dr. Elizabeth Cameron is one of the best facial reconstruction surgeons, which is why the CIA uses her periodically for their agents. Recently, her lover, David Maddox, was killed and Elizabeth had retreated into a shell, focusing only on work. The very day she is going to take a cruise and try to loosen up, the CIA comes calling yet again. This time they want her to remake agent Joe Hennessy as David Maddox. Unfortunately for Elizabeth, Joe is an agent she had previously met and sparks flew- for which she feels guilty to this day. However, agents Elizabeth has worked on are being killed and Elizabeth agrees to the job as she doesn't want others to die. Elizabeth does an excellent job of helping Joe emulate David in every way. However, she figures out that David may be the traitor who is causing the deaths of the agents. There is a bit of a twist to the story that I won't spoil by revealing.
