Book Description:
milkrun' milk run (plural) milkruns noun
1. a routine and often slow journey esp. taken from the delivery of milk 2. The process of dating to no avail why am I on the milkrun and not the express?!

Of all the ways to find myself Single Again, this has to be the worst. A "Dear Jackie" e-mail from my supposed boyfriend, who claimed to be "finding himself" in Thailand. Instead, he's found someone else. And dumped me.

But I, Jackie Norris, will bounce back! I will become Crazy Dating Girl and prove to Jilting Jeremy that I am over him! One snag: Why do all the guys I meet either have groping hands, lunatic tendencies or a worrying interest in putting up shelves? I need a man who wants to rip my clothes off, feed me pizza, then have stimulating, intelligent conversation.

Single in Boston -- c'mon there has to be someone!

Hip and Hilarious, Milkrun is a must-read for anyone who longs for the express -- but is stuck on the local . . .

This is now on my list of all time favorite chic lit books! I loved her writing. I felt like I was having a chat with my best friend every night; or like she had emptied my thoughts out of my head right on to the page. She really writes just like your thoughts might flow though your head…well at least how they flow through my head! It was such a quick, easy, fun read!

I was sad to see it end. Would love a sequel to see what becomes of Jackie, Iris, etc. I want to hear about her trip to Europe and relationship with Andrew!

This is a fun, girly read. When Jackie unexpectedly gets dumped by her boyfriend she is thrown into the single life of Boston. What an challenge/adventure. I am sure a little bit of both. The read is sure to make you laugh and sigh with understanding. It is good.

One of my favorite chick-lit books. Well written, fast-paced, excellent story and character development, and all around just a good story! I wish there was a sequel.

I have fallen in love with Sarah Mlynowski's books. She's got the chick lit style down. Its cute and endearing, romantic and loveable while not going overboard. This book was cute in its metaphor of shuffling through guys.

Pretty cute, superficial but it IS chick lit.

The story was enjoyable, but how ironic that a book about a copyeditor is so full of spelling & grammar mistakes! And while Jackie's supposed to be a Connecticut girl living in Boston, there are several Canadianisms in this book (the author is Canadian)—something an American copyeditor should've caught.

Yet another book about a 20-something who thinks she's nothing without a man. Refreshingly, a guy actually calls her on it, pointing out that Jackie doesn't want him, she just wants a boyfriend—any boyfriend.
