Book Description:
Smart, witty and a little bit bitchy, Fishbowl lets you press your face against the glass, see into the lives of three unique roommates -- and laugh your head off.

Allison can't wait for Jodine and Emma to move in to her apartment -- until she realizes having roommates means living in a fishbowl: You are never alone. When one small, slightly accidental fire leads to one big repair bill, all efforts to avoid each other are finally abandoned: They've got to raise money... fast ("Insurance? You mean you have to pay for that?"). This means joining forces. Bonding? Well, at least they're talking to each other!

Amazingly, they agree on a plan: shamelessly exploit their combined expertise on the male species for hard cash. Tactics: sell tickets to their swanky soirées and How to Pick Up Women seminars... But their grand scheme sweeps away any last shreds of privacy with startling consequences. Now that they're forced to take a long, hard look at themselves, Allie, Jodine and Emma's lives -- and budding friendship -- are about to change, in ways they never imagined.

This is my all-time favorite chick lit novel! Mlynowski's writing style is very entertaining, the plot intricate. What I loved most was how the three roommates viewed each other - so funny and true to life!

This is my favorite Sarah Mlynowski book so far. It was the second of three that I've finished so far and it was really good. One thing I didn't like as much is when the narrator directs the action. It was only found in a few chapters though, so it wasn't a huge deal. I just preferred hearing the story through the characters themselves. I really enjoyed the character Allie as she reminded me of a person I know in real life. I think a good novel will have characters that you can imagine meeting in real life and this book had that for me. Overall, an excellent Red Dress Ink book by one of my new favorite authors.

I loved this book! It's fun and light-hearted with just enough sarcasm!

Fun, light reading about the fun and trauma of living with roommates.

A saga of roommates, from the point of view of each. I found it a bit slow, but that didn't stop me from reding the whole thing.

It started out slowly but the more I read, the more I could actually relate to the 3 girls on different levels.

I thought this book was enjoyable. Sort of hard to get into at first, and I have to agree with another reader about the chapters that the author narrates-didn't care for that too much...overall it was a good, quick read.

Wasn't a bad read, but not near the rave reviews I had read about it. (I liked "As Seen on TV" and read that people thought this was better). I should add though I am in my late 30's, so probably not the typical age group reader for this author.
