Good mystery!! How does it feel to buy and move into a house then find out that murder and who knows what else has been committed there?

Like all the Coffin books, this one takes careful reading. This is one of my favorites in the series. M'ann

Coffin in the days before Stella! He buys a house with a terrible secret under the floorboards, and the mystery builds with some romantic interest among the characters and suspects. Butler is always a good read and the picture of London in earlier days is great.
