Book Description:
Night Shield -- She was too much of a cop not to be suspicious of a shady character like Jonah Blackhawk . . . and too much of a woman not to be drawn into him. So working undercover in Jonah's club was getting extremely complicated. For despite Allison Fletcher's determined distrust, the smooth-talking tough guy was getting under her skin, and that was too close for comfort.

Night Moves -- Some people had skeletons in their closets; Maggie Fitzgerald had one in her yard. She'd retreated from her fast-paced life, seeking peace and solitude. And if surly landscaper Cliff Delaney's rude manner and irresistible sexuality weren't disturbing enough, now an old murder shattered her peace entirely, imperiling her life and forcing her right into the protective arms of the most irritating man alive.

Night Shield was a great page turner that I had somehow missed. Allison Fletcher is the daughter of the police commissioner and a new detective. Jonah Blackhawk is a "bad boy" her dad helped reform and the owner of a bar where potential robbery victims seem to be targeted. They are suspicious of each other and sparks fly. At moments it felt like an early draft of Eve and Roarke from her J.D. Robb books - worth a read!

Night Moves was less fun for me, predictable and the spooky aura was actually just kind of sad.

I love anything by Nora Roberts. This is the final chapter to the Night Tales series, plus it has a bonus story entitled Night Moves that is linked to the Night Tales theme. An excellent Read!

She was too much of a cop not to be suspicious of a shady character like Jonah Blackhawk... and too much of a woman not to be drawn to him. Some people had skeletons in their closets; Maggie Fitzgerald had one in her yard. She'd retreated from her fast paced life, seeking peace and solitude. And if surly landscaper Cliff delaney's rude manner and irresistable sexuality wren't disturbing enough, now an old murder shattered her peace entirely, imperiling her life and forcing her right into the protective arms of the most irritating man alive.

In Night Shield, a hard-nosed female cop is paired unwillingly with an ostensibly shady nightclub owner with predictably romantic results. In Night Moves, a famous song writer hires an opinionated landscaper with unexpected results.

The night is filled with mystery, danger . . . and romance. Here is the last Night Tales book, reissued for the first time, plus a bonus classic tale of passion and peril by the incomparable mistress of romantic suspense, #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts

Two books in one. Very good. Night shield is about a cop who is doing undercover work at a club and falls in love with the owner. Night Moves is about maggie Fitzgerald who moves to a small town and finds a body in her yard by her landscaper Cliff Delaney. This murder rings the couple together.

This is books 5 & 6 in the series. All good stories. The only thing I found odd is books 1-5 have same characters. Book 6 has completely new characters not related to the ones in the other 5 books.
