Historical romance, set in the rebellion of Bonnie Prince Charlie that ends in the slaughter of Culloden. Lots of background, but I would have enjoyed more with the characters.

Best Nora Roberts novel I have ever read. Wonderful story line, though perhaps a bit too much of a history lesson for my taste.
One of Nora's best love stories. Hate verse love makes for a great book
This was great. It is the first book of the MacGregors. It how the whole saga srarted.
Scotland 1745 Serena MacGregor hates all English. She witnessed the attack of her mother by a band of English soldiers. She even hated her brother's best friend Brigham Langston despite his loyalty to the Scottish cause. But Brigham has different ideas. The border wars continues.
If you love any f the MacGregors books you can't miss this one. Great historical romance.

Great Book, couldn't put it down. Scottish beauty and English Noble thrown together and hating each other. A war in 1745 Scotland and a war of Love and honor.
