(i loved this book. had previously already read rules of the game so i skipped over it. the hearts victory is about cynthia "foxy"fox and lancelot "lance" matthews. she had always loved him as a young girl and he had returned the feelings but turned away from her because she was only a child at the time and he a man of 26 to her 16 years. so he waited for her to mature and then made his move when they met again years later. and sparks fly..
