For this was the man who had transformed her from the sweet-natured girl she'd been-into the passionate woman she was meant to be.

Water based love story. Fun.

Definitely a well written book --- I find that the characters are well within the time period they portray! By the time I finished the book I was scrambling around to find out if Lady Polly would have her own story to tell. I look forward to a good Regency to dull the boredom of the constant bed hoping of the contemporary romances -- Nicola Cornick paced her story so well that I could not put the book down -- this book gets my own personal rating of excellence [not given to a lot of books] -- Lady Polly here I come!
