Feisty, capable western cowgirl Shiloh Drummond meets Texas Ranger Logan Hawk in the most unusual manner and she dislikes him from the get-go. First she thinks he is lying about who he is and second (or maybe tied for first) he is a man. At this point in her life, she hates all men and only wants to get home and settle into a life as a spinster. As they hide and run from a gang of outlaws who want Hawk dead, they must learn to work together even though they irritate each other a great deal. A great historical romance.
