A charming and delightful book! Carla Kelly has the ability to draw you into her characters' lives. I cheered for her wonderful hero and heroine and the other "good" characters. The evil-dooers got what they deserved.
This was a light, uncomplicated feel-good read.

A Captain is taken sick at a failing English inn that has a family depending on its trade. Of course, the Captain rescues the heroine while doing his best to save her pride.
