I found this book hard to read as the author kept repeating herself over and over... it was a great storyline and the first in a series..
A DARK MISTRESS BECAME HIS DESTINY...
Plucked from the depths of hell, former military sniper Reno Manchahi was hired by the government to kill a thief, but he had a mission of his own. Descended from a family of shape-shifters, Reno vowed to get the revenge he'd thirsted for all these years. But his assignment went awry when his target turned out to be a powerful seductress, a woman who risked everything to fight a potent evil.
They had a combustible connection, yet he struggled to reveal the truth about himself—his Apache upbringing, his Jaguar pride, his death plot. Soon, Reno had to transform himself into a true hero, accept this new love and conquer the enemy that threatened them. He had to become a Warrior for the Light....

This wasn't a favortie for me. The writing was too formal for my tastes.
I liked the story however. Worth the credit.

This book was a bit hard to get into. But once i passed the first 100 or so pages the story finally picked up. It was good. Lindsay Mckenna does have very good books however this one wasn't a favortie of mine. However the nocturne collection itself is amazing.

I couldn't get into the story line at all with this book. I do enjoy Lindsay McKenna's other work, so I'm sure it was just a difference of voice or style that made the book unlikeable for me. Don't hold that against this book.

Better than average offering from Silhouette. It did repeat itself, but I found the story line very interesting. Boggles my mind how people come up with these kinds of story lines.
