New Nocturne series of the paranormal featuring Kieran MacIntyre, one of the Guardians, a group of warriors, recruited at death, to protect humans from the demons and to become immortals. He has to protect a human, Julie Carpenter, from the demon and protect his heart at the same time. Can an Immortal and a human find love?

An immortal hero who is not a vampire, how refreshing. Add a strong heroine and a truly evil nemesis and this is an enjoyable supernatural thriller.

the characters have good chemistry, but storyline was a little weak.
