When firefighter Francesca Cordaro saves the life of Alex Templeton, she can't help noticing how very attractive the man is. But Francey knows the rule. Firefighters who don't want to get hurt shouldn't get involved with outsiders. Unfortunately, Alex doesn't believe in rules. And he can't understand why a woman as brave as Francey won't take a chance on love.

I haven't read this so here's an Amazon.com review:

I just recently discovered Kathryn Shay and Feel the Heat was the first book I read.
I loved the strong heroine, Francey, who is a kickass firefighter and saves Alex, the hero. He is a little shocked to discover that his savior is a woman, and is instatnly attracted.
Kathryn Shay's research shows, but she doesn't beat you in the head with it. You feel as if you are in the firefighters' shoes and everything rings true. Her characters are also well crafted, Francey and Alex are truly each other's soulmates.
