Typical romance by Krentz, although this was written early in her careet under the name of Stephanie James.

Honor knows that delivery into their hands will mean certain death. Judd's been led to believe she's a compulsive liar. How can she prove to her kidnapper that these men are seasoned, murderous criminals? Judd's just a cold-blooded mercenary with money on his mind. Or could there still be a beating heart underneath that rugged exterior?

This is an early Krentz written in 1983 and reissued.

Mercenary Judd tracks down Honor in a small Mexican village where she is hiding from her former business partners who want her dead. Convincing Judd not to take her back to be murdered is a tough task and she'll do anything to make him see her point of view. Hot sex, strong language...typical Kentz read. Great way to spend a winter evening reading!

It was a nice little romance, mystery novel. Light hearted. I enjoyed it.

If you love the 'tough guy' hero...you will love Raven's Prey. Krentz is a master romance novelist. You can't go wrong with this book.
