I love Susan Mallery and this is one of her better ones. Smart, funny and sexy with a decent plot. It is the 2nd in the Buchan Famile series, with Walker falling, in protest, for a wonderful waitress with a cute kid. And evil Ex ready to do bodily harm to Elissa, and some sub-plots involving his family give the story fun and twists.

This is the first one in the series I read and it hooked me to read the entire series. I think this one may have been my favorite though.

EXCELLENT!!

Fast read....story reminded me of a An Officer and a Gentleman short version! I enjoyed it, but kind of out of reality.

OH MY!!! This one might have even been better than the first! I LOVED IT! I love the way the author keeps all the characters going but if you read it out of sequence probably could still follow

Solid writing undermined by a plot that just keeps whining: I'm so bad, can I forgive myself?

Second book in series. I really enjoy her writing. The character development is awesome. The plot keeps you wanting to keep reading. Well done!
