Two stories. Enamored - Diego Laremos must come to accept that the young wife he rejected has lived in poverty for five years while bearing and raising his child. Melissa awakes in the hospital, lucky to be alive after a plane crash, to see Diego at her side. She has never forgotten the hatred of his family and his complete rejection, and is frightened that he will take their son Matt away from her if he knew the boy was his.
Mystery Man - Canton Rourke has lost everything; his fortune, most of his savings, and his wife. He meets Janine while on vacation in Cancun with his daughter, and assumes she is an unfit mother. Actually, Janine is a world famous authoress, and is babysitting her brother, Kurt, while their parents are discovering a new Mayan dig. Kurt, along with Canton's daughter, Karie, are intently and secretly involved in creating a scam. Mix in some kidnapping attempts, and archeological thefts, and the two would be enemies join forces.
