Book Description:
Book 3 of 3: McKettrick Men series (Keegan's story)

Keegan McKettrick has learned the hard way that women can't be trusted. The only female in his life these days is the young daughter he sees all too rarely, and his sole passion is for his job overseeing his family's corporation. Until the beautiful but mysterious Molly Shields comes to Indian Rock on a mission -- and keeping a suspicious eye on her becomes Keegan's full-time hobby...

Molly doesn't know why she's attracted to a man who's determined to dig up dirt on her, even if he is gorgeous. But cynical Keegan might be the one person who can truly understand her shadowy past -- and if the two can risk opening their hearts, they just might forge a brighter future.

The third novel in the McKettrick's Men series. This is Keegan's story. He's another rugged guy that discovers being married to your job doesn't buy happiness. And, the gal he hated at the beginning of the book becomes the gal that he loves. He learns that things aren't always what they appear to be. Along with McKettrick's Luck and Pride, it makes for a great trilogy from this author.

I liked this book the most out of the 3 McKettrick books in this series. The ending I really didn't expect until the VERY end. The romance was incredible and so was the dialogue.

For some reason all the McKettrick men scream "Hot!" and I love reading about them. I've been a long time Lael fan and love her writing style and all of her books. Definatey was happy with this one as well.

Good series. I like this author, and I have the first one in this trilogy, but it has some damage from a burst highlighter.

Keegan McKettrick has learned the hard way that women can't be trusted. The only female in his life these days is the young daughter he sees all too rarely - his sole passion is his job overseeing his family's corporation. The job allows him to run away from facing any of his anger and fears.

Molly Shields comes to Indian Rock - invited by Psyche Ryan, the adoptive mother (now terminally ill) of the child Molly gave up two years ago. In a twist, the father of the child turns out to be Psyche's now dead husband. Psyche wants Molly to be the child's mother upon her death.

Keegan decides that Molly must be after Psyche's money (even though unknown to him, Molly owns a literary agency and has more money thatn Psyche), and as Psyche's childhood sweetheart, he decides he's going to dig up any dirt he can to thwart her "plot".

But Psyche has other plans for the two who can't stand each other. A great book.
