Frances H. (Two good classic stories..."Bluebird Winter" by Linda Howard reads: "Kathleen Fields had to reach the clinic, but a Christmas blizzard left her stranded, ready to give birth. Then Derek arrived with his doctor's skill and caring heart. Together they brought Kathleen's child into the world and discovered love, the greatest gift of all.
In "Naughty or Nice?" by Stephanie Bond, we meet Cindy. She's the manager of a hotel that caters to eclectic customers. When Eric (a spy sent by the owners of the hotel chain) comes to evaluate the hotel's profitability in the market, the sparks soon fly between him and Cindy. First, she mistakes him for a salesman of adult toys. Some of the situations that arise are really funny as she makes her regular visits to the hair salon, only to be disappointed that it's cut wrong, permed too tightly, colored wrong, etc. Also comedy situations arise around the hotel and with Eric that will make you chuckle.
A nice book to help you get into the Christmas mood.
