Book Description:
Descendents of the legendary McKettrick family, the Creeds are renowned in Stillwater Springs, Montana —for raising hell...

Hailed as “rodeo'’s bad boy” for his talent at taming bulls and women, Dylan Creed likes life in the fast lane. But when the daughter he rarely sees is abandoned by her mother, Dylan heads home to Stillwater Springs ranch. Somehow the champion bull rider has to turn into a champion father —and fast.

Town librarian Kristy Madison is uncharacteristically speechless when Dylan Creed turns up for story time with a toddler in tow. The man who'’d left a trail of broken hearts -—including her own- —is back… and this time Kristy'’s determined to tame his wild ways once and for all.

Meet the Creed cowboys of Montana: three estranged brothers who come home to find family - —and love.

This is no. 2 in the Montana Creeds Trilogy. Dylan is the middle brother who's been living hard and fast as a rodeo cowboy/stuntman/financier. When his ex-girlfriend decides to drop off his 2-year old daughter for Dylan to raise, he realizes that it's time to settle down. And, return to Stillwater Springs Ranch, where he was born and raised as a kid. There he bumps into older brother, Logan, and his wife and two sons. (See no. 1 in the Trilogy.) He also has to face the girl he left behind several years ago, and he winds up falling in love with her all over again. The passion between the two of them is electric!!

A good book, and I'm looking forward to reading no. 3 and meeting the youngest brother, Tyler.

Dylan's story is a sweet one. After a poker game one night, Dylan gets an uneasy feeling that he is not alone. He's right, he's not and his world is about to change forever. Bonnie, his 2 year old daughter is waiting in his truck, alone. Her mother has claimed that she can no longer take care of her and that now it is Dylan's job to do so.

Dylan does the only thing he can think of and takes his daughter back home to Stillwater Springs, Montana. He also looks up the one woman who had ever meant anything to him: Kristy Madison, town librarian. Can he and Kristy work through their past and make a future together?

Like I said, Dylan's story is a sweet one. Bonnie really adds to the story line and so does a mystery that doesn't crowd the romance. It's a very good and very fast read!

An excellent continuation of the Montana Creeds series -more excellent character development, and ties in so well with Logan (part one of the series). More Linda Lael Miller supremacy!

I like the story line and the family aspect of a good romance.

Great story of 3 brothers and a desire by the eldest to clean up 'the family name.' Be sure to read all 3.

I have very few books on my "keeper" shelf, but Linda Lael Miller's are often there. Her cowboys, both historical and contemporary, are men you want as friends and lovers. And her writing often makes me re-read a sentence or paragraph. An example:

"When she got in the Blazer and went to finish out her workday, she left a hole in the fabric of the day that he had no idea how to weave back together."

Someone reviewed this series on Amazon and was dismayed that some of the love scenes were explicit. I disagree. I often read Ellora's Cave books; THOSE are explicit. Ms. Miller's are sweet and sensuous.

If you haven't read books by this author, I highly recommend them.

Dylan is the second in the Montana Creed's trilogy. Well written and captures your imagination.

This is the 2nd book in the trilogy and it was great and also had some lead in for the next and final book.

We read lots of stories about single moms but Dylan Creed is a single dad. Not by choice but because the mother of his daughter abandons the child in Dylan's truck while he is playing poker. Ill equipped to care for a child, Dylan decides to head back to Stillwater Springs Montana where he was raised. Soon after arriving he bumps into Kristy Madison, the woman who at one time meant everything to him. Kristy is still drawn to Dylan and is very taken with his daughter Bonnie.
Kristy is confronted with secrets from her past that place her in danger. Who is always there to protect her? Dylan of course. They have lots of issues related to their past to work through as they each begin to dream of a future together as a family of three.
In the meantime Dylan is trying to work through the complicated situation with his brothers Logan and Tyler that came to a head after their father's funeral. Can the brothers be brought together? Part of the answer is here and Ms Miller is making us wait until book 3 of the trilogy - Tyler's story - to give us the final answer.
Dylan's story is a wonderful read and I recommend it.
