Really enjoyed this book. I loved the fact that our heroine isn't one of those that is easily pushed around by men and I love the type of farm she grows up on. I don't think i've read another book with that kind of farm yet. Some great moments and one I laughed out loud at. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Do you ever really forget your first love? For Adam and Vonnie it appears that the answer is yes. Or is it? When tragedy comes into their lives, each must face the fact that they still care about the other, more than they should under the circumstances. Why can't they stop thinking about the other even when their families are so opposed to them even talking together?
Deeply moving with elements of mystery and humor. Loved the ostrich element of the story - having lived near an ostrich farm- the descriptions of the events surrounding the ostriches brought lots of memories and laughter.
