Book Description:
Bohemian hairstylist and spa owner Marly Fine can handle almost anything. At least until she walks into the office of Florida governor Jack Hammersmith...when he's shirtless and hot enough to ignite every ballot box in the state. It's clear how he earned his player reputation. Thankfully, he's so not her type. Sure, his kisses may peel the polish from her toes, but that changes nothing!

From the minute he sees her photo, Jack knows Marly is The One. Try convincing his too-practical-for-fate stylist of that, however. It'll take some serious persuasion...and rock-hard proof that politics makes for the lustiest kind of bedfellow!
===================================
When hairdresser Marly Fine is brought in to cut the hair of John Hammersmith, aka The Hammer, Florida's Republican governor, she tries to keep her cool. It's great publicity, even if his politics make her cringe. When he insists she's the one for him, she doesn't believe it, but she does find him as charming and persuasive personally as he is politically. But complications arise when it becomes clear that his advisers and father have picked out the woman he's to marry--and it isn't Marly.

This is Book #2 in the "After Hours" mini series. This book is full of humor & was my favorite of the 3 books. Worth the read. This is the story of Marly, a hairstylist & Jack, the govenor of Florida. It made a very interesting story.

This is the 2nd book of the AFTER HOURS trilogy. The 1st book is Midnight Oil and the 3rd book is Midnight Touch. All 3 great books.

Part of the "After Hours" series.

A sexy, young governor and a bohemian hair dresser -- how can this combination ever work? Surprisingly well! A sexy, fun book.

MIDNIGHT MADNESS - Karen Kendall's AFTER HOURS trilogy/mini-series, Book #2

When hairdresser Marly Fine is brought in to cut the hair of John Hammersmith, aka The Hammer, Florida's Republican governor, she tries to keep her cool. It's great publicity, even if his politics make her cringe. When he insists she's the one for him, she doesn't believe it, but she does find him as charming and persuasive personally as he is politically. But complications arise when it becomes clear that his advisers and father have picked out the woman he's to marry -- and it isn't Marly.

Midnight Madness, by Karen Kendall, is a fun, totally silly and unbelievable book. The political theme, strangely serious in this light romance, highlights their differences.

Note: After Hours #1: MIDNIGHT OIL, After Hours #2: MIDNIGHT MADNESS, After Hours #3: MIDNIGHT TOUCH

Jack Hammersmith, Floridas' Governor, is convinced after seeing a photo of Marly Fine, a bohemian hairstylist and spa owner, that she is THE ONE. Trying to convince his too-practical-for-fate stylist of that will take some serious persuasion.
