This book contains three short, easy-read stories that actually have some connection with one another. I found the characters believable, and the conflicts very real. Main characters are all independent working women/busines owners who have inner conflicts about the men they are attracted to. All three women try to resist what they have been told will happen in their lives, and in ignoring 'karma' they become 'jinxed' (thus the name of the book). The only way out is by surrendering to love, which is easier said than done. The sex scenes are hot, if a little brief, but the build up is sweet torture. Ultimately a positive ending for all three ladies, which left this reader with a smile on her face. Four stars for being excellent for such short stories. Great quick read at bedtime, while in the tub, or riding the train.
