Truly a DELIGHTFUL STORY--one of my favorite Dry Creek books!....Carl takes his protection of Barbara and her children very seriously. But is he doing it because of his job or his heart?

Sooo many funny and cute scenes mixed in with the mystery and romance. While a little clumsy in their efforts, Carl and Barbara are two down-home, likeable characters trying to fulfill their dreams. Thankfully, Mrs. Hargrove is there to steer them in the right direction. Sometimes love can use a little push.

Sheriff Carl Wall had asked everyone to leave Barbara alone so she could heal. Could the sheriff do his job without losing his heart?
