As is the case for most of her books, this is a great two-story book about the romances of two confirmed bachelors in Alaska. The townsfolk are charming and the stories are sweet. The brothers own a fleet of small plans that fly prople and freight to the most inaccessible parts of the huge state of Alaska. The men in their employ are leaving because they are so remote, they can't have relationships with women so that they can pick brides. So one of the brothers decides that they need to bring women to the town so that the men will stay and their business will be secure. Little do they know that they are the ones who will be shot by cupid's arrow as the women appear in town! If you like romance novels that are chaste and charming this book is for you. If you want sizzling passion, look elsewhere. This is a book your daughters and sons can read.

This is two stories in one. Brides for brothers - Sawyer O'Halloran is not entirely in favor of his brothers scheme. He considers himself immune to the charms of any woman- until Abby Sutherland shows up in Hard Luck Alaska to start over with 2 adorable kids.
The Marriage Risk- Charles O'Hallaran falls hard for Lanni Caldwell. Though he"s not the marrying type, she might just convince him to risk taking the leap. Then he discovers she is the granddaughter of the woman who destroyed his parents marriage...

A fun light hearted romantic read. This is the first book in a series of three. Each book contains two stories about the lonely men in a remote part of Alaska and the women they hire and bring in to make life more enjoyable. This first book has two stories about two, out of the three brothers, who were the first ones to fall in love and marry two of the new women in town. I enjoyed reading the book and plan on reading the other two in the series.
