I love Debbie Macomber! She writes romantic fiction that keeps you guessing! Having read the first volume and this volume, I find that it does get a little predictable but it doesn't take away from the stories. The two stories in this book include "Daddy's Little Helper". Bethany Ross goes to live and teach elementary school in Hard Luck, Alaska. She meets one of her students Chrissie Harris, whose dad is a widower. Chrissie works every trick in the book to get them together. Some work and some don't! You must read this story to see how this one comes together.
The second story is "Because of Baby". Lanni Caldwell's brother Matt, buys the Lodge from the O'Halloran brothers and decides to turn it into the Hard Luck Lodge for those who seek adventure. He is divorced and his wife Karen lives in Oakland, CA. She goes back for Lanni's wedding and ends up sleeping with her ex-husband, and ends up pregnant. Matt takes her back to Hard Luck and tries to win her back but she's not buying it. She wants Matt to prove something to her! Find out what happens and how they solve their personal crisis. Can love and baby win out?

This was a very good book, one that I wish wouldn't have ended.

Loved all of the Midnight Sons stories. This book has Mitch & Bethany's story and Matt & Karen's story.

Two in One book. Part of the "Midnight Sons" Volume Two

Book 2 of the Midnight Sons series focuses on another O'Halloran brother and how he falls in love and marries. Also includes stories of the other people in town that also fall in love, marry and have childre.

Good reading, another great cant put the book down read.
