Martha F. (FletchMama) reviewed Marrying Minister Right (After the Storm, Bk 2) (Love Inspired, No 506) on
Helpful Score: 1
FROM BACK COVER:
It Was The Happiest Day Of Her Life
Until Heather Waters was cruelly jilted at the altar. Yet now that very church is a beacon of hope for the tornado-ravaged town. With her charity mission, Heather finally comes home to Hogh Plains and face the man she believes betrayed her trust that day: Reverend Michael Garrison. As they work together to restore the town's faith, Heather's own heart remains in tatters. Until Michael, along with his precocious niece, helps her realize she's truly found Minister Right.
After the Storm - A Kansas community unites to rebuild.
MY REVIEW:
This is the second in the six book continuity series 'After the Storm' (not counting Valerie Hansen's free online read prequel at eharlequin.com). This story surrounds the pastor of the High Plains Christian Church Michael Garrison (cousin to Healing the Boss's Heart Greg Garrison) & his childhood friend Heather Waters who has returned to High Plains to help. Michael's 14yo niece attempts matchmaking and the Lord uses Michael & Heather to gently minister to her needs as an at-risk teen. Annie Jones does a great job, especially in communicating through the story that doing things in God's time doesn't always mean waiting. Sometimes, God's time is now. Great read! Loved it.
Order of six book After the Storm series:
Healing the Boss's Heart by Valerie Hansen
Marrying Minister Right by Annie Jones
Rekindled Hearts by Brenda Minton
The Matchmaking Pact by Carolyne Aarsen
A Family Thanksgiving by Patricia Davids
Jingle Bell Babies by Kathyrn Springer
