Book Description:
Holiday Wishes include the following three stories:

If I Make It Through December by Kate Austin

From balance sheets to blue plate specials, Heather James has a lot to learn about running a restaurant. But a well-informed business plan isn't enough to prepare her for the holiday rush-- or head chef Sam Cappelletti. Is lasting love the bottom line.

Who Needs June in December, Anyway? by Stevi Mittman

Teddi Bayer could use some holiday magic this year, especially since Grandma June is making everything worse. If only there was a magical menorah Teddi could rub, and pouf! But rubbing it while humming "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" seems to be having unexpected consequences. Hum. You have to wonder.

The Perfect Christmas by Mary Schramski

Growing up as a lonely child, Gwen Anderson always dreamed of a Christmas pulled from the pages of a Currier & Ives illustration. She's long since abandoned that dream. Until her mother realizes that she didn't give her daughter enough time as a child. And she vows to now give Gwen.

I've only read the Stevi Mittman story 'who needs june in december, anyway?' which is the 3rd (think it's the 3rd!) story in the life in long island can be murder series. it's a short story in the 'next' line from harlequin and honestly I don't think it'd make much sense unless you sorta know the background from the first book or 2 but that's just my opinion. June is Teddy's mother who's sorta nuts and drives everyone else nuts...in this story her mother disappears and they find a kidnapping note then go on a hunt trying to find her. Teddy's brother who's been living in the Bahamas since graduation 20 yrs or so earlier is supposed to come in for Christmas but isn't wanting to and the family wonders if June didn't do this 'kidnapping' herself but can't figure it out for sure.

all 3 stories are short.

Three great short stories that are so wonderful--you'll get "warm fuzzies" just reading them.

THis book has three wonderful stories about three women and how they deal with there family and friends around the holidays. The second story really made me laugh the most. It was worth reading this book just for that story alone.

A good mix of emotions from women past their 30's.

Great Christmas anthology from the Next line. Each story was very well told and very different in it's own way...I enjoyed this collection very much.

Three very different Christmas stories, a quick holiday read. The Stevi Mittman tale was a hoot!
