I was really excited to read this book seeing as that I'm engaged and planning a big wedding. It actually turned out to be one of those books that I just couldn't wait to finish because I didn't want to read it anymore. (I have a problem not finishing books no matter if I like them or not.) The characters were older than I expected and the book just wasn't the traditional engagement process. I am from a small town in Oklahoma so maybe things are just different down here than anywhere else, but I just did not like this book at all.

Great Book. Easy Read
As a fellow bride-to-be, I really identified with this one. It is funny and a very quick read.
What a fun and witty story! I was surprised that I enjoyed the young characters so much since I'm long past the honeymoom age, but they captured my interest with their quirkey personalities. The story was hilarious and also tender, revealing the many sides of a relationship.
Not the best book I've ever read. It was a difficult book for me to get into.

From the back cover: "A wickedly funny accout of an intelligent, rational woman's transformation into a bundle of anxieties that is the bride-to-be....The sight of Michael's discarded socks on the floor makes her realize, 'Suddenly, a sock on the floor is not just a sock on the floor. It is a sock on the floor for the rest of my life.'"
