This is the biography of Jessica Savitch, a very popular White House news correspondant of the late 1970's - early 1980's. Savitch, dubbed the "Marilyn Monroe of TV news," lived a hard almost rock star type of existance, including hard drugs, promiscuous sex and partying. She died in a tragic car accident in 1983.
