this was a fascinating view of drug dealers, new orleans life and the corruption of government officials and at the same time how important the love of children is to all people in all walks of life. fast moving story. could not put it down.

I love Burke. No one else conjures up the feel of the Bayou quite like him. Wonderful mystery, great full-fledged characters, and delicious food!

Not my favorite of his, but a good story nonetheless. The pace is exciting and the ending unforgettable.
