Book Description:
For a bored, young princess of Xanth, there's nothing more exciting than a Quest. Especially when all you do is sit around Castle Roogna. But when Ivy uses the Heaven Cent, it takes her not to the top of Mount Rushmost, where the winged monsters gather, not to the sea where the merfolk swim--but to Mundania, a world much like out own (that is, boring). It is here that she meets a young college student so dull that he doesn't even believe in magic, or princesses, or Xanth!

Does he have a lot to learn.

The thrilling climax to the trilogy started in Vale of the Vole and continued in Heaven Cent.

OK. Now it's Ivy's turn for a Quest.
...Since her brother has been grounded, she has decided to continue the search for the Good Magician on her own. But when she uses the Heaven Cent to go where she's needed most, she ends up in Mundania. There, she enlists the aid of a college student to help her get back to Xanth. That's when the real adventure begins.
...Who is this Mundane, and why does he seem to have a stronger link to Xanth than any other mundane should have? And why is Ivy more attracted to this plain, boring man than to any in her own world? And why is Com-Pewter so interested in this relationship? And where is the Good Magician?
...As always, there is lot's of adventure, and even more puns. I'm definitely ready to move on to the next novel in this series :o)

This used to be my absolute favorite Xanth novel when I was about fifteen.
