This was the first of the series I've read. And I liked it enough that I'm ordering many others from the series.
The heroine is a great combination of church-goer and cusser. The women are middle-aged and the friend Suzie is over-sized, over-mouthy, and beautiful. A refreshing change from svelt 20-something heroines!
Farewell to Yarns is Jill Churchill's second Jane Jeffry's mystery. This one takes place at Christmas. An old friend comes to visit. During the visit two people end up died, Jane's son has a band concert, and her church has a bazaar. It is just another few days in the exciting life of Jane Jeffry.
I enjoyed this book because it was a good read even though it was a quick one.

I have become addicted to this series. Fast reads, great characters, just what you need after a long day!

A very funny, quick read.
Nice cozy mystery but I wish the folks who write the blurb on the cover would learn the difference between knitting and crocheting.
Suburban single mom Jane Jeffry must manage the hectic Christmas season and host an old acquaintance and her bratty teenage son. Of course, there's also a murder to complicate things.

This whole series makes me laugh. A bit improbable, but the situations the main charachter runs into with her kids complicating her life are real enough. Good, fun read.
