Jane & Shelley find themselves mixed up in another murder when a loudmouth attorney is found dead in the neighborhood deli where Jane's son works. I enjoy this series, but lately I've become a little bored with the predictable storylines. However, I like the characters and especially the relationship between Jane & Shelley.
If you are hooked on this series of Jane Jeffry Mysteries then you might like it. I think it is a poor version of some of the better mystery series. I much prefer the Goldilocks series - I forget that author. Jane is boring and the book was predictable - the worst sin for a mystery.

Funny, funny book
Pompous, pig-headed attorney Robert Stonecipher is a major pain, so no one is terribly upset when he's killed by a falling rack of hams at the new deli. But when Stonecipher's obnoxious employee meets and equally appropriate end, Jane knows the fat's really in the fire. Jill Churchill is witty as always.

I'm working my way through the series in order... funny! Good beach books. Not terribly intricate mysteries, but the characters feel like next-door neighbors.
I loved this book though it was slow at first! After a few pages, I read and could not put it down until I finished!!

Why did someone push a rack of hams over on a person who was already dead? Another Jan Jeffry mystery featuring all of the characters we've come to know and love--Jane, her 3 children Mike, Todd, and Katie, her boyfriend, Mel, and her sidekick Shelley.
