English school headmistress comes to Texas to do some historical research and find a way to get out of marrying a man she does not like. She meets a golf pro who is on probation, and offers to be her giggalo, and the fun starts there. This book is very funny, and will have you laughing and smiling all the way through. Susan Elizabeth Phillips is a very good writer of funny and enjoyable adventures.

Loved the story. All her books cannot be put down until finished.

This a book about a woman who is the head mistress of an English school. She is bound and determined to lose her good reputation. She visits America to do it. The man in charge of her cannot risk another bout with trouble, so is determined to stay in good form. Their wills clash as each comes up against each other. It is a very amusing and romantic book. I flipped over it.
