New Orleans Police Sergeant Beauregard Dupree has spent the last 10 years raising his three orphaned sisters. Now that the last one is about to leave the nest, he's looking forward to impending bachelorhood. And when he's ordered to guard prim and proper Bostonian Juliet Rose Astor Lowell, Beau decides to get himself unassigned from this latest round of babysitting duty by exposing the prudish lady to the rather uncivilized side of life in the French Quarter.

Not only does Be My Baby bubble with hilarious dialogue, superb sexual tension, and the color and heat of New Orleans, but it also possesses a solid suspense subplot that perfectly balances the wonderful romance.

Read all 372 pages in a day. Action doesn't stop, and the steamy 15 pages or so made me, well, have a hot flash!

Very good, fast paced. I liked it.

This is a great story with a fast-moving plot. I just loved the New Orleans accent of the main character Beau Dupree.

I love this contemporary group of books by Susan Anderson. They are a great light read when you just need to kick back!

funny book, as the cop does everything and anything to annoy the debuntante,so he does not have to protect her but his plan back fires on him.

Put a Yankee beauty named Juliet Rose Astor Lowell in New Orleans and assigned a city cop named Beau who has not interest in babysitting a spoiled little rich girl and the resulting heat has nothing to do with weather.

This was a really cute romance and a pretty fast read.

Prime and proper Juliet Rose Astor Lowell doesn't want her body guarded by anyone while she's in New Orleans for the grand opening of Daddy's new hotel --- especially not by consummate macho cop Beau Dupree. He's just too big, too pushy, too virile too... everything!
