Book Description:
Heartbroken over the death of her fiance, Ragweed, Poppy, a deer mouse, journeys west through the vast Dimwood Forest to bring the sad news to Ragweed's family. Donna E. (If you haven't met the characters of Dimwood Forest, this is a good book to start with. Avi is one of my favorite authors - the only reason his books are listed for children is that some people think adults are to grown up for such stories - well they are wrong!
