I just recently discovered Lisa Kleypas and I am hooked. I don't even really like historicals, but there are no shy, wimpy, virginal heriones in her stories. Kleypas also somehow creates these wonderful, caring but strong heros. Strong, erotic sex scenes and deeply emotional storylines at the same time. This one is one of my favorites.

Man is younger than the woman and she is pleasingly plump. Another regular girl gets the man. Good read.

Great love story between two imperfect people!

I really enjoyed this book. It was not a "typical" romance considering the way the met. I really appreciated the author’s insight into what life must have been like for a woman wanting a career and independence in the 1800's.

Love scenes seemed a bit more extensive than her later books, so not my favorite, but nice story.

Great Regency Romance!

i really enjoyed this book. lots of tension and sex.

A wonderfully sensual novel that I could not put down.

1836 England. Interesting and original plot. Heroine (novelist) is 29 and "untouched" so she hires what she believes is a male prostitute. She doesn't follow through, but later finds out he wasn't who she thought. Their lives tangle and they fall in love...

another great Lisa Kleypas read! (More sex than in some of her others)

The hero is a publisher who wants to publish the first book she had ever written. He shows up at her home when she is expecting the prostitute. Their relationship builds from the mix up.
