Wedding bells will soon be tolling for Tess Darcy, who is finally to tie the knot with longtime love Luke Fredrik.To celebrate the much anticipated occasion, Tess's Aunt Dahlia and Cousin Cinny are hosting a bridal shower at the Victoria Springs Country Club, the sacred domain of Julian Walker, superchef extraordinaire, who is as thoroughly despised as his culinary masterpieces are adored. So it is not a complete surprise when the dictatorial kitchen artiste is real shock is when Iris House cook Gertie Bogart is fingered as the prime suspect.
This lethal brouhaha could easily ruin Tess's upcoming wedding -- and land Gertie in the slammer for a crime Tess is certain her friend did not commit. To rescue both, Tess will have to temporarily exchange her wedding veil for a sleuthing hat. But by doing so, she risks raising the ire of a killer -- which, in turn, raises the likelihood of Tess winding up dead before wed.

i really enjoyed this story about a wedding and a murder . the bride has to discover who is the killer
I enjoyed this read. As always Jean Hager writes an excellant and easy read, interesting and great story. I recommend for anyone who reads coze mysteries.
Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Tess Darcy, owner of Iris house and Luke Fredrik, but murder gets in the way, and Gertie Bogart, the cook at Iris House is the prime suspect. Great Book and one of a series.
Wonderful story! This is a great series if you like cozies. get this and snuggle up to a wonderful read.
Last of the cozy B&B series featuring Tess Darcy and the mysteries she encounters while running Iris House. A good read.
Tess Darcy is trying to plan her wedding, but little things keep distracting her. Like the murder of the superchef doing her wedding and the arrest of her own Iris House B & B cook for the murder. As ever, Jean Hager's books are amusing and her mysteries are often better than expected in light fare of this kind.
