Fascinating story of a Feller's travels through the Middle East as he reviews the stories of Genesis and Exodus and his interactions with the people now living in the locations attributed to them.

Writting by one of the All Things Considered forls at NPR, this is an interesting journey following the "People of the Book" in the 1st 5 books of the bible.

Although the premise of this book was interesting, I found it very boring and difficult to read. I tried over many months to finish it and finally gave up.
