A great historical romance that starts out with that wonderful friction that makes the happy ending all the more enjoyable.

I requested this book when I saw the many positive reviews it had previously received, but when I read it I was keenly disappointed. The plot at times veered into the laughably unbelievable, and I couldn't buy the development of the "romance" between the two leads.

Married to a man she's never met, a young well bred English lady travels hundreds of miles to meet him and give him her heart and her loyalty. Not from a smoke free home, though it has been packed away in a box.
