Laugh out loud funny - wickedly erotic hero and cute but lovable heroine make this one book you will want to read again and again!

This is the second time now that I've been a bit disappointed with a book in this series. I had really hoped it would be better than the last one (The Immortal Highlander), but it's really just more of the same. The stories just keep going "Oh, no! We have a deadly problem! Let's run to Castle MacKelter!" It's really getting old and it makes me not look forward to the future books that will eventually come out in this series. (As is promised by the author.)

Like all of her books - my absolute two favorite things - time travel and huge Scottish highlanders with 20th century women!!!! Continuance of the story - Love you Dageus!

Another wonderful Highlander book form Ms. Moning, this one features Cian, a tenth-century Druid captured in a dark mirror--and Jessi, who gets saddled with the mirror once the professor who bought it through the black market gets killed. Cian and Jessi haveto get to Scotland as soon as possible, for a deadly sorcerer tails them, and they have numbered days until this evil one gains full power...

I have read all of the books in this series and have enjoyed each of them. This book started pretty weak but it got better about a third of the way in and by the end I cared what happened to the characters. My only complaint about this book is that it was more trashy than others in the series.
