With Bungalow 2 still on bestseller lists, Steel checks in with a Bay Area earthquake that shakes up the lives of three beautiful, talented, yet somehow unfulfilled women. Sarah Sloane, 30-something wife of Seth, a wildly successful hedge fund entrepreneur, and mother of two, has planned to perfection a high-ticket charity auction. The only thing she hasn't counted on is the biggest seismic event to hit San Francisco since 1906 and the aftershocks it will cause in her marriage. Meanwhile, hot Grammy-winning 19-year-old singer Melanie Free, flown in to perform at the benefit, likewise finds her life overturned: following an on-stage triumph, Melanie throws away her platform shoes to assist disaster victims, admitting—much to the annoyance of her pushy stage mother and her TV actor boyfriend—that she always wanted to be a nurse. Sarah and Melanie face change with support from the 40-ish Sister Maggie Kent, a California nun whose good deeds draw the interest of recovering alcoholic and former AP photojournalist Everett Carson, who captures her in pictures. As marriage, faith and vows of chastity are tested, there's nothing complicated to spoil the romance. Steel delivers a sparkly story with an uplifting spiritual twist.

I was pleasantly surprised that this was a great story!!! I finished it in a day. The story takes place in the aftermath of a major earthquake in San Francisco when several people with very different lives come together and form lasting bonds. This is actually one of her better books, especially considering some of the crappier ones she's put out lately. Yay Danielle Steel!! Keep the good ones coming!

THIS is why we love Danielle Steel! She's broken free of the boring "template" that she's used on so many recent books and written a great story, with many interesting characters. Strong women, real problems, and interesting circumstances.

Not bad at all. Several very well developed characters and you want to read more about them, I found myself skipping ahead to find out what happened to one or two and then going back to read about the rest of the story. Good character growth on some characters and all in all a good read.

I'm not really a Danielle Steel fan (this is the only book I've read of hers), but this book was pretty good. It didn't blow me away....but was a good read.

This has to be by far one her best books that I have read in awhile. Very in depth. It will make you cry, but I couldnt put it down once I started reading it.

This book was absolutely amazing. This was the first book that I've read by Danielle Steel and whatever I read afterward had a very tough act to follow. It was very interesting the way every single character in the book crossed paths, became friends, fell in love, and kept in touch, all through a tragedy.

This was one AMAZING book. I am a huge Danielle Steel fan and have read almost everything she has written. However, I believe this to be her best book over all others. I couldn't put it down. I believe the amazing grace that her characters were looking for is something that we can all find by believing in God and trusting him to guide us. This was a truly inspiring book. Have a tissue handy. I laughed, cried and rejoiced as I read this awesome book!

Amazing Grace is well...Amazing! Danielle Steel wrote a different type of book than her normal novels. Don't get me wrong though, I love Danielle Steel's writing. I have read every novel she has had published.

There is so much dimension in each of the characters. In the book... faith, love, and loyalty win overall. I feel like Danielle's inner core showed through in this novel. She is an author who you can't judge just by her cover and outer beauty, and with that said, the characters can't be judged by the initial impressions they portray either.

Grab some hot chocolate, your comfy blanket, a "do not disturb" sign, and this book for a great evening in. You deserve it! :)

I absolutely had a hard time putting this book down. In my opinion, this book is definitely a must read for Danielle Steel readers, and any reader who wants to feel better about the life they lead, and wants to do more to help and assist their fellow men.
